Massive Offer For Nikhil’s Film

Young hero Nikhil is basking on the success of Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada (EPC) which minted around a worldwide share of Rs 18 crores. The movie indeed gave big break for hero Nikhil and for director VI Anand whose last individual films were commercial failures.
Makers of this super hit film have got huge offer for Tamil remake rights. A Tamil producer has offered Rs 80 lakhs for the rights and the deal is expected to close for the same or a bit high price. As per sources, demand is huge for Kannada remake rights too. Discussions are on and Kannada rights may fetch around Rs 70 lakhs for Telugu producers.
EPC was made of a budget of Rs 7 to 8 crores including prints and publicity. Including satellite, audio, theatrical shares and remake rights, the film’s complete revenue will be around Rs 25 crores. Therefore, the makers pocket 18 crores profits.
Interim, Nikhil is working for an actioner Kesava which is being directed by Sudheer Varma of Swamy Ra Ra and Dochey.
