Making a quite smart movie, to not hurt fans from any region, Superstar Mahesh Babu has adopted two villages, one each from the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. We all do know that he is under plans to adopt his native village Burripalem near Tenali town from a long time, and here is another update.
Talking about the happening, Mahesh said, “The Smart Village initiative lead by AP CM Chandrababu garu prompted me to adopt my own village, Burripalem. This would not have happened without the support of my brother-in-law, Jayadev Galla, MP from Guntur”. Here comes a phone call from Telangana minister KTR in this connection. “Very Humbled after receiving a congratulatory call on the success of Srimanthudu from Minister KTR. He suggested I adopt a village from the most backward district of Mahbubnagar as part of their Grama Jyothi initiative”, said Mahesh, who said YES for the deal.
“Srimanthudu is a special film for many reasons. Gained immense respect and love from all my fans... Made me more human”, Mahesh concluded. Well, but we wonder why is he worried about adopting just single village and picked another from Telangana too!?
