Savitri biopic titled Mahanati is turning out to be one of the biggest hits in summer this year. The film has already crossed one and half million mark in USA is doing exceptional business in domestic market as well. As per trade reports, Mahanati raked huge numbers in its first weekend.
Latest we heard is that, Mahanati satellite rights were sold for whopping price. Zee network has grabbed the rights be shelling out Rs 11 Crores. This is almost half of the investment Mahanati producers spent on the project.
Apparently, Mahanati makers will enjoy huge profits as the movie received positive talk from everywhere. With no big film is to compete for Mahanati, the movie will dominate box office for at least couple of weeks until arrival of new outings.
