Legendary Actress Sukumari Passed Away

Legendary actress Sukumari, who has acted in lot of movies across Tamil, Malayalam and Telugu films, has died in Chennai on Tuesday evening. Known as Amma within the film circles, Sukumari has sustained injuries some time back while lighting the traditional lamp at a function in Chennai. Sukumari was conferred Padmasri in 2003 and also won the National Award (2010) for Best Supporting Actress for her role in 'Namma Gramam'. She is noted for her role as Sabari in Mahesh Babu starrer Murari movie.
