Is Superstar Krishna Still Hero Material??

He handles goons by the neck; He wields a gun and blasts wrong doers; He utters punch dialogues and tries to take revenge for a forgotten episode; Yes, he's none other than veteran Superstar Krishna and he's doing this for the upcoming movie "Sri Sri".
Going by the trailer that was released other day, no doubt, many cinema lovers are keeping a single finger on their mouth. When 73 year old Amitabh Bachhan is picking up roles like "Piku" and "Paa", it's sad that hero 72 year old Krishna, still want to show heroism in his roles. Punch dialogues, beating goons, gunfires and action scenes that are being done by young heroes. Senior heroes should take up some challenging author backed characters which Bollywood actors are keen on doing these days.
No doubt, Krishna is an acting material, but not a hero material now. Even if he wants to act as a protagonist, the roles should be convincing and characterisation should be awe-inspiring. Do these seniors think Telugu audiences are still worshippers who don't care about age of their heroes?
