National Award winner for Mani Ratnam’s Anjali, actress Shamili is once a highest paid child artist who has also paid income tax at a younger age. Later she has quit acting to make it into studies and then came back to films with “Oye”, which features Siddarth in the lead.

As her latest photo shoot is as stunning as it could be, we hear that director Linguswamy has roped her in for Pandem Kodi 2. The director was in search of a girl with homely looks when he chanced upon Shamili’s new pictures nad gave her the role.
Earlier Vishal confirmed that neither Tamanna nor Samantha are taken in for the role of heroine. That is a double confirmation that Shamili is onboard, but not any. Will this Oye girl succeed now?
