Golden Crown for Anushka

Actress Anushka Shetty is currently busy shooting for her upcoming movie 'Rudrama Devi'. She portrays the role of a warrior queen in the upcoming film. Directed by Guna Sekhar, the new flick is on a very huge budget. Guna Sekhar is known for spending lavishly on his movies and the same has been followed in 'Rudrama Devi' as well. It is heard that Guna Sekhar is using real gold for Anushka's crown and other ornaments. The gold has been brought from Chennai, as per sources. A lot of research had been done from ancient texts and scripts in recreating Anushka's ornaments and costumes for the film. 'Rudrama Devi' is also said to be the first Indian stereoscopic historical 3D film. Thota Dharani is the art director for the movie and it is slated to release some time in 2014. Actors like Rana Daggubati, Catherine Tresa, Nithya Menon, Krishnam Raju and Baba Sehgal are playing pivotal roles in the movie.
