Deepika speaks out about engagement rumours

For all the motormouths spreading rumours about Deepika Padukone's engagement to beau Ranveer Singh, the lady has finally given them an answer. The actress today clarified that she has "no such plans anytime soon". While addressing the reporters at the ongoing India Couture Week 2016, Deepika talked about brides wanting to look the best at their wedding day and took the opportunity to clear the air about the fast spreading rumours.

“I think this is the right opportunity for me to clarify. There is no such plan anytime soon. I am not pregnant, I am not engaged, I am not married. I am not planning to get married anytime soon,” Deepika told reporters. Ranveer and Deepika's chemistry is for all to see at the recently help awards ceremony where they were seen exchanging glances at every given opportunity and even dedicated their awards and dance performances to each other.

On the professional front though Deepika will soon be seen in the international film xXx: Return Of Xander Cage starring Vin Diesel. Though she is seen just for a few seconds in the movie's recently released trailer, her fans are hoping that she gets a good amount of screen space when the movie finally releases.
