Controversial biopic on Yogi Adityanath

Yogi Adityanath has created a history by stepping into the CM post of Uttar Pradesh. This has inspired a film maker called Vinod Tiwari to make a biopic on the life of Adityanath. But the first look of the poster has stirred huge controversy in the state. A look alike of Yogi Adityanath in the picture stands facing a temple with a pistol in his hand. The movie was titled as Zila Gorakhpur. However the BJP leaders has raised strict objections against the poster and filed a case against the film makers. They have even warned that such cheap publicity would not be tolerated. Bowing to these threats, Vinod Tiwari has issued an apology and announced that the project would be shelved forever. "Certain misconceptions were being created on social media after the poster release. The arguments made are baseless. In the best interest of everyone, the project has been shelved," Said Mr. Tiwari in a statement.
