Surekha Vani is among those handful of TV anchors who have made it big onscreen with good character roles and she is admired for her homely beauty mainly in sister and vadina roles. But these days her presence seems to have come down a bit onscreen with few offers in hand. Commenting on this, Surekha says that for starlets who perform glam roles, vamp roles and item songs they are always much sought after and since she cannot do such roles, she is not getting many offers!
