Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt starrer romantic entertainer Badrinath Ki Dulhania has passed crucial Monday test. The movie raked Rs 12.08 crores alone in India on Monday, taking four days total to Rs 55 crores. Considering Varun’s market, this is big amount collected on a working day.
This is the third time that Alia and Varun worked together after 'Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania' and 'Student Of The Year'. Their effortless chemistry has often been appreciated by the audience and this outing was no exception.
Badrinath Ki Duhania deals with the evils of a regressive society in the north Indian hinterlands, and touches upon the subjects of dowry and patriarchy. Made under Dharma Productions, 'Badrinath Ki Dulhania' is a spin-off of the 2014 film 'Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania'.
