Ala Vaikuntaputam Lo is the movie which Allu Arjun has been doing after taking a short gap. During the promotions it was told that the comedy in this movie will be like that in Race Gurram. After directing a serious movie Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava, Director Trivikram is back with a family entertainer. Keeping all this points aside, it is a hat-trick movie from the duo Trivikram-Allu Arjun. So how is the movie. Let us read the review.

Story:

Bantu( Allu Arjun) is a middle class boy whose father is Valmiki(Murali Sharma). He likes his bosses son Sushanth more than Bantu. But why? It can be predicted very easily. Bantu joins a tourism company where his boss is Amulya(Pooja Hegde). As expected Bantu falls in love with Amulya. No sooner they fall in love, they come across many hurdles. How does Allu Arjun clear all his hurdles? Does he marry Amulya? Forms the movie story.

Analysis:

A director who is great in his dialogue writing skills is compromising somewhere with his story selection and that is making his fans a little irritated. And even with this movie, his fans will have the same complaint. No doubt the movie has wonderful dialogues and superb comedy but the story is a little weak. The main twist in the story has been revealed in the beginning by Trivikram. And thus audience can easily predict the following scenes.

The first half is entirely about hero heroine falling in love and the comedy track. The second half belongs to family sentiments and emotions just like any other Trivikram movie.
The heroism does not get elevated since the villian is very weak. But emotions are sure to pinch the audience's heart.

Thaman's music is the biggest plus point for this movie. The background music is equally mesmerizing.

Cinematography by Vinod is excellent. Every frame looks colourful.

Production Values are top notch.

Plus Points:

Allu Arjun Superb Performance
Trivikram Srinivas mark comedy
S S Thaman Music, Background Music
Heart touching emotions
Cinematography by Vinod

Minus Points:

Movie length
Predictable story, screenplay
Scenes which remind Trivikram's movies
Weak Villain

Performances:

Allu Arjun will be extremely active and jovial during the movie's first half exactly like in Julayi movie. Second half will portray a new Allu Arjun.
After Allu Arjun, it is Tabu who will attact the audience. Malayali star Jayaram acts extremely well.
Sachin Khedekar and Murali Sharma have done justice to their roles.
Samudrakani as Villain did a great job wherever required.
All the others did their job decently

TeluguOne Perspective:

Do you remember Allu Arjun's dialogue? "Stylish Ga Undi Kada, Naku Nachindi". Yes the movie is equally stylish. This is a classic movie with nice comedy. People who like Trivikram movies will surely like this movie. There are many other scenes which will entertain other audience too. This is a perfect family entertainer for Sankranti.

Rating: 3.25 / 5
