Pawan Kalyan has carried the movie on his shoulders and he has been outstanding through out the film. His mannerisms resembled Chiranjeevi in few scenes and his dances in Gabbar Singh are a special package for his fans. His performance has been intense in the action scenes, especially in the pre interval and climax episodes. He lived up to the expectations this time with a rocking performance.
Though, the movie is the remake of Bollywood movie 'Dabangg', the second half of the movie has major changes in the script. Director Harish Shankar has done a commendable job in handling the things well - be it the narration or screenplay and execution. His dialogues are meaningful and catchy. Overall, Gabbar Singh is the movie that will enthrall the audience for brilliant performance from Pawan Kalyan and wonderful direction from Harish Shankar.
Pawan Kalyan unleashes his box office stamina and has excelled with incredible energy levels in this film. He showed his commitment in dances, diction, action scenes and delivered an amazing performance. Shruti Hassan has played her part well and her dubbing has been very poor. Abhimanyu Singh's performance is artificial. Tanikella Bharani, Nagineedu, Kota Srinivasa Rao and Suhasini Maniratnam are ordinary. Ali and Brahmanandam are hilarious in their limited roles. Ajay's performance is OK. Gayathri of 'Happy Days' fame acted in a surprising role.
The dialogues by Harish Shankar are fantastic and catchy. Editing by Gowtam Raju could have been better. Cinematography by Jayanan vincent has been brilliant. Devi Sri Prasad's music and background score is an asset for Gabbar Singh. Fights by Ram Laxman are amazing and powerful.
Devi Sri Prasad music
Final Word: Recommended for Pawan Kalyan's stellar performance and Devi Sri Prasad's fantastic music.
