Suri is a poor youngman of Bhimili village. From his childhood, he likes kabaddi very much. Several others are also in that village who like kabaddi. Suri was too young when his father died and Suri joins as a domestic help in village-head's house. Though Bhimili team playes kabaddi matches, but it has never won in the past. A young girl who is studying college at Rajahmundry, comes to Bhimili to her brother's house for the village fair. Suri and the girl start liking each other. After the village fair is over, she returns back to Rajahmundry. On coming to know that State level Kabaddi tournament is to take place in Rajahmundry, Bhimili team also goes there. What happens thereafter is the remaining story.
Though as a director it is his first venture, Satya has done a good job. Flick's second half is more interesting than the first one. That's because of its adequate screenplay. Though there are some minor flaws, but they are negligible. For example, when dead Suri is brought from Rajahmundry, his shirt got changed etc. However, the other things were deftly handled by its director Satya.
TeluguOne Perspective :
Acting: As a hero Nani has performed well. Even though it was a low profiled role, he played
it diligently. Considerable maturity is found in his expressions. He is the one with a bright future
among the upcoming heroes. Coming to heroine Sharanya, she didn't have much to do in it. She
performed well within the scope of her role. All the players in kabaddi team have acted well. As
kabaddi team's coach, Kishore would have done better. Had his acting would have been at par with Rajiv Kankala's similar role in "Sye" movie, then this flick's out come would have been still better. Others did justice to their respective roles.Music: Re-recording is better than songs composed by Selva Ganesh. Among all songs, 'padapadamani tariminade' is both nice to listen and as well as to watch.Dialogues: Not so impressive, but okay. Lyrics: Lyrics are good.Editing: Not bad.Art: O. K.Choreography: This too not bad.Action: Look natural. It's a small movie, but well-made. It is a different kind of story which is very close to reality. If you want to see such a movie, then it's a must watch for you.
