7.5 Crores For Loafer? That's Too Much
on Nov 17, 2015
In the name of competition, distributors are shelling out some unbelievable prices for young heroes who didn't had a market to their name yet. Recently it happened with Akhil, but only to leave distributors with heavy burn injuries. Now its the turn of mega hero Varun Tej.
"Loafer" is the upcoming film of Varun Tej, which is directed by Puri Jagan. Nizam rights of this film are sold for nearly 7.5 crores. While Varun's potential with "Kanche" proved that he could make only 2+ crores from Nizam for an above average film, it's wonder that the distributors invested 7.5 crores on him now. Even if we call this as craze for Puri Jagan, this director is not delivering hit films these days. Trade observers say, this deal sounds too much.
