Baby Tejaswini
Listen to the little Baby who can’t listen
Baby Tejaswini daughter of G.Srinivas is three and a half year old is suffering from Bilateral Sensorial Neural Hearing loss. She has been advised cochlear implant surgery at the earliest. The total surgery cost is estimated as Rs. 6, 48,000.00 (Six lakhs forty eight thousand).

Srinivas is working as a constable in Central industrial security force a Para military force manning critical industry/establishments at Hakimpet. Currently central govt. health scheme (CGHS) does not cover cochlear implantation. He is not eligible to claim assistance under government’s ‘Aarogya Sri Scheme’ as he does not have a white card. However, he is pooling an amount of Rs. Three lakhs by borrowing from banks, friends ,relatives and also by selling his assets. Sahi foundation is contributing 1.5 lakhs. He needs the remaining 1.98 lakhs for the surgery.

Today’s tough economic conditions make it difficult for us to meet these needs without help from people like you. TeluguOne foundation requests one and all the kind hearted to donate for this compassionate cause. All contributions to our foundation are tax-deductible

Arun
Listen to the little boy who can’t listen
Ramesh Babu and Lakshmi are couple living in a rural area with two kids and with dreams any other middle class family has. Ramesh Babu works as secondary grade teacher for Upper Primary School in Kammaripeta, Waranagal District.
Their younger boy Arun (3 years) is suffering with profound sensorineural hearing loss right from his age of 6 months. Ramesh Babu found this symptom at the early stage and consulted with famous hospitals in Warangal, Hanamakonda and Hyderabad.
The doctors said that the boy’s condition resumes to normal if he gets the surgery done as soon as possible. The surgery is all about implantation of a device in the ear and it costs around 10.5 Lacs.
As a teacher earning less than Rs. 9,000 per month, he is not entitled to claim that much amount for his son’s treatment from their department. He put forward appeal to many organizations and individuals failed to find someone who can help.
For the namesake he is a Government employee, who is respected so much in the society and considered as person with ‘life security’. Perhaps, the same buzzword could have become a hurdle to respond to his appeal.
Worsening the situation Ramesh’s wife fell depressed. Finally he got help from CM, Andhra Pradesh (Rs. 2,00,000/- from CM Relief Fund) on 4th April 2007
Following that some other donors promised to help him for his son’s surgery called ‘Cochlear Implantation’.  But he still fell short of around 2.6 lacs. TeluguOne Foundation/ I a ppeal all the kindhearted to respond to this case immediately and make the kid listen and speak for the first time.
Details of the family and Master Arun’s case history have been attached here.
