Every Year in our state nearly 10,000 to 20,000 children are succumbing to various kinds of Heart ailments. Around 0.8% of children born are afflicted with heart ailments. Many of the children born with the heart ailments are born to the parents who are poorest of the poor, who cannot even afford one square meal a day leave alone the cost of treatment for their children.

Every day these people go thru an ordeal unable to see their children succumbing to the heart diseases and at the same time not able to provide them with necessary medical treatment, which is beyond their reach since it costs them Lacs of Rupees.

For some children the ailments can be cured by medication and for others surgery is compulsory and for this each child requires a minimum of Rupees One Lac. Basing on the statistics available the Govt has to spend around Rupees 25 crores to treat the children, but due to the paucity of funds and the lack of necessary infrastructure it is not possible for the Govt to take up this Herculean task.

Looking at the constraints being faced by the Govt in treating the children, Hyderabad based CARE hospital has come forward to share the burden. They have committed themselves to the noble cause of providing the treatment by spending around Rupees Forty Five Thousand (Rs.20, 000 /- by Care Hospital and Rs.25, 000 by Care foundation). In spite of this there is a shortfall of Rs. 55,000/-, which the parents are unable to shell down.

We request you to contribute Rs. 55,000/- (approx US $ 1200) towards the balance amount for performing the operation to save the life of a child identified by the Care hospital. We sincerely promise you that each and every penny contributed by you is fruitfully utilized for this noble cause.
