Sweet Roses

 


 

Ingredients:

* Maida 1/2 cup
* Wheat Aata 1/2 cup
* Sujji/Bombay rava 1spn
* Sugar 1 cup
* Elachi Powder 1/4 spn
* Salt - a pinch
* Oil to fry
* Food Color optional

 

Method:
* Mix Maida ,Aata, Sujji ,a bit of oil and a pinch of salt make a tight dough like poori dough
(Should not be soft cause the roses cant made if its a soft dough)
* Rest it for an hour or two
* Take a small portion of the dough and roll it into chapathi
* Then take a sharp edged small cap.and cut the chapathi into small portions as showed in the video
* Then take three small portions cut by cap and make petals as shown in the video
* Keep them aside
* Now Take pan and add 1 cup sugar and 1 cup water make semi thick sugar syrup (dont make this syrup ahead as it may go crystallised , So even if make it a little ahead add a little lemon so that it wont crystallized )
* If you are interested add food colour at this stage
* Take the roses in a plate and pour this sugar syrup on the petals
* If you dip all roses in syrup they might go soft ,so try to avoid it,pour the syrup on each rose separately.
* Sweet roses are ready to serve with a sweet and tangy taste
