Spinach and Squash Pizza

 

 

 

One easy pizza with the healthy greens, all for kids. Parents usually have complaints that their kids dont eat leafy greens or like only plain cheese pizza.... Involve them in the prep job and they will eat their greens without picking them out.

 

You need:
* Ready made pizza base or pizza dough
* Zuchhini or Squash ribbons ( peeled and grated)
* Spinach leaves ( Palak )
* Fresh mozzarella cheese
* Grated Parmesan cheese
* Fresh basil leaves
* 1 tsp olive oil

 

 

Making Instructions:
* Preheat oven to 500 degrees Fahrenheit.
* Take a large baking sheet, spray cooking oil for grease.
* Press pizza dough in a circle, ( as large as required) or simple place the readymade pizza base on the sheet
* Bake for 8 minutes.
* Strain the grated zuchhini and squash ribbons, inorder to remove water.
* Remove the baked dough and brush olive oil. Place zucchini or squash ribbons, Spinach leaves, mozzarella and Parmesan cheese as generously as required.
* Bake for 6 to 8 minutes or until the cheese melts and the crust is golden brown.
* Once the pizza is baked, bring out and sprinkle basil leaves ( chopped if you like) when the pizza is still hot.
Your children will love this Pizza, for sure....dont shy away from telling us if you finish it yourselves !!!
