Potato and Onion Pakoda




2                                           - Potatoes  
2                                           - Onions
2 tbsp                                  - Gram Flour/ Besan
1 tbsp                                  - Rice Flour
1 tsp                                     - finely chopped green chillies
1 tsp                                     - Red Chilli Powder
1/2 tsp                                  - Garam masala
1/4 tsp                                  - Dry Mango Powder
2 tsp                                      - finely chopped fresh coriander
Salt to taste
Water as required
Oil for frying


First cut the potatoes and onions length wise. In a wide bowl mix besan, rice flour and spices. Add water and make a batter which should be in dropping consistency. Add potatoes, onions , green chillies and coriander to it and mix well. Now take dollops of the mixtures and fry them till golden brown in the hot oil. Serve hot with mint chutney or ketchup.
