Paneer Sticks (Rakhi Special)



Paneer is the most favorite dish opted by many Indians  during the parties and food festivals. Paneer is one such ingrediant which is healthy, tasty  and suits for every occasion.
On this special day of “Raksha Bandhan” we are bringing you the easy snack made out of paneer. (cottage cheese)


150 gms paneer (cottagte cheese) cubes cut in recangle shape.
1/3 kg  boiled potatoes
1/2 cup  all purpose flour
1/2 cup chopped onions
4 chopped green chillies
1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
1/2 tsp garam masala
1/2 tsp dry mango powder
1/2 cup chopped coriander leaves
2 cups roasted semolina
2 – 3 slices of bread
oil for deep frying


•    Take boiled potattos ,mash the potatoes along with and 2 soaked bread slices.
•    Mix the content  with chopped onions, green chillies, coriander leaves . also add ginger-garlic paste, garam masala, Dry mango powder  and  salt and mix well like a batter.
•    Take a small portion of this mixture and coat on the paneer pieces.
•    Take all purpose flour in a separate bowl,  mix it with enough water and make a thick paste.
•    Dip the paneer fingers in this mix and coat them with roasted semolina.
•    Heat the oil in a kadhai and deep fry the fingers till they turn golden brown all the sides.
•    Serve hot with sauce or green chutney.
