Cucumber kheera chutney

 

 

Ingredients :-

Cucumber (kheera) pieces -1 cup

Peanuts - 2 table spoons

Tamarind paste - 2 table spoons

Green chilli ; 3- 4

Salt 1 - tea spoon

Ginger (chopped) - 1/2 teaspoon

Onions(chopped) - 1 table spoon

Method :-

* Roast peanuts till they turn into light brown colour. Add tamarind paste( chintapandu), chopped onions, ginger (allam), green chillies and grind them into paste and add salt.

* Now take cucumber, peel of the skin and cut into small pieces and mix will in the pre prepared chutney then season this Chutney.

Seasoning;  heat one table spoon oil , add pinch of musturd seeds(avalu), cumin seeds and fenugreek seeds ( menthulu) and fry well then add curry leaves(karivepaku) and asafoetida as per your choice.

Finally you can garnish this chutney with coriander leaves.This will go well with rotis , puris and rice as well.....
