Coconut Prawn Rice
Ingredients :
Prawns - 250 grams (Shall removed)
Basmati rice - 250 grams
Coconut milk + water - 450 ml
Whole dry red chillies - 2
Cardamom - 2
Garlic cloves- 3
Cinnamon stick - 1 inch
Sugar - As per taste
Salt - As per taste
Vegetable oil or ghee 1, 2 tbsp
Onions - 2
Oil - 2 Tbsp
Prepare Method : -
1. Take oil 1 tbsp into pan and heat it , Add the Red chillies, cardamom ,cloves and cinnamon Stcks then Heat on medium until you get brown color.
2. Now add the prawns and stir, do not over fry the prawns and as soon as the prawns change color now add the rice to prawn..
3. Stir well and add the coconut milk, salt and sugar and bring it boil then reduce the heat to low and cook for 10-15 Mins.
4. Switch off the flame and a stir to separate the rice grains and keep covered and let it cook in its another 5 mins.
5. Take another pan with 2 tbsp oil add onions and chillies heat them become brown color after 5-7 minutes, add some salt and sugar over the onions, stirring every 5 min. 6. Next add Rice to seasoning,Then Ready your coconut prawn Rice..
Tip: For veggie option, you can skip the prawns and use paneer or simply add in some raisinsr and nuts.
