Bread Dosa



Suddenly one fine weekend morning, you crave for dosa and look for an instant recipe, here is the one. This is an easy one to prepare  with all the ingredients  available in our kitchen. Lets check out.


8 big  slices of bread
½  cup semolina
¼  Rice flour
½  cup curd
¼ spoon  cumin seeds
salt to taste
5 tsp melted ghee for cooking


•    Tear bread in to pieces and soak them in 1 cup of water.
•    Then, add semolina, rice flour, curd, salt and more ½ cup of water to it .
•    Mix the content and keep aside for 30 minutes.
•    Blend the bread mixture in a mixer with ½  cup of water and blend it till smooth.
•    Add cumin seeds to the mix and stir well.
•    Heat a non-stick tawa, grease little oil, pour batter and spread in a circular motion.  Put ghee on the top and edges.
•    Cover it with a lid and cook on a medium flame for 2 minutes till it turns golden brown in colour.
•    Take out from pan and serve hot with green chutney/ coconut chutney and sambar.
