Arbi Tikki

 

 

 

Week end is the time where moms literally be on their toes; there could be so many reasons for this, however, one among them is to satisfy kid's taste buds. To help you on this,we are here, presenting a perfect snack for this weekend..

 

Ingredients:

* Arbi - 1/2 kg

* Onions - two

Red chilli powder - 2 teaspoons

Garlic - 2 cloves

Turmeric powder - 1/4 teaspoon

Sliced coriander - 1/4 cup

Gram flour - 2 Tablespoons

Salt - as required

Garam masala - 1/4 teaspoon

Oil - 50ml

Cornflour - 3 tablespoons

Cumin powder - 1/2 teaspoon

 

Preparation:

Boil arbi in a pressure cooker and remove skin, mash them, add salt, turmeric and chilli powders and keep aside. Now, cut garlic cloves, onions in to small pieces and add along with coriander, cumin powder, cornflour, garam masala to this dough and mix well.Now, make small balls from this dough mix, Keep adding gram flour to make round tikkis; now roast these tikkis on nonstick pan using oil till they turn in to nice brown colour. Serve them hot with ketchup.
