If you are experiencing problems with the quality of viewing or listening to our services, two possible causes are high Internet traffic and incorrect RealOne player connection settings. The latter cause can be corrected by optimizing your settings. To begin, follow the steps below.
1.
From the Tools menu, click Preferences. The Preferences window opens.
2.
In the Category pane, click Connection.
3.
Under the Bandwidth section, click the Test Connection button. A small window opens.
4.
Click the Perform Test button. (This may be slow to respond.)
5.
If RealOne Player has detected any settings that are incorrect, it now shows you those settings. Click the Update button to set your RealOne Player connection speeds automatically.
6.
When the test finishes, click OK to close the Preferences window.
7.
If you were streaming while performing the test, you must stop and restart playing before any changes to the connection settings will take effect.
