TANA arranges a meeting of UNV students with Indian Ambassador

Dallas TX: Aug. 3rd 2011. Prasad Thotakura, TANA President in a press release requested all UNV Students to attend a meeting with the Indian Ambassador at Indian Embassy (2107 Massachusetts Avenue, NW, Washington, DC 20008) on Friday, August 5th 2011 at 11:00 AM. After that meeting at the same place, students can have FREE Legal Consultations with attorneys from one of the top most leading law firms in the USA, Murthy Law Firm. Also, representatives from the University of Southern Missipppi, MS; Murray State University, KY and Concord University, WV would be there to answer students’ questions in transferring to Universities of their choice if they are interested to do so. This is a great opportunity to meet all concerned officials at one place and I request all UNV students to avail this rare opportunity.

“Hundreds of students who are expecting to graduate this December and who are on OPT from UNV are afraid of their status if authorities shuts down the University. Most of these students are pursuing education with Bank loans and it will be an additional financial burden on them if they need to repeat their courses from the beginning at other Universities” Satish Vemana, TANA Treasurer said.

I sincerely appreciate the hard work of our TANA Leadership of Virginia including Satish Vemana, Treasurer, Trilok Kantheti, Regional Representative and Subba Rao Kolla, Foundation Trustee who are working relentlessly in meeting with officials of Indian Embassy, Lawyers from Murthy Law Firm in assisting UNV students and Ashok Kolla NRI Student Services Chair interacting with UNV students and guiding them.
