Education gets highest allocation in AP Budget

Andhra Pradesh state finance minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu has presented Rs.1, 11,884 crores budget for 2014-15 years. Education, Medical and Health, Urban development, rural water supply gets highest allocations in his budget. Out of them primary, middle and higher education tops the allocations. Here are the brief details of the budget and allocations: 1. Total Budget of the state: Rs. 1, 11,884 crores. 2. Planned allocations: Rs. 85,151 crores 3. Non-planned budget expenditure: Rs. 26, 673 crores. 4. Budget deficit is Rs.19, 028. 5. Revenue deficit: Rs.6, 064 crores. 6. Primary and Middle level Education: Rs.12, 595 crores. 7. Intermediate Education: Rs.812 crores. 8. Higher Education: Rs.2275 crores. 9. Medical and Health: Rs.4388 crores. 10. Panchayati Raj: Rs. 4260 crores. 11. Urban Development: Rs.3314 crores. 12. Rural Water supply: Rs.1115 crores. 13. Labor and Employment: Rs.276 crores. 14. Forests, Scientific development: Rs.418 crores. 15. Infrastructure Development: Rs.73 crores.
