Will Centre come to Chandrababu Naidu rescue?

A section of media that has been spreading gobbles that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is turning blind eye on Andhra Pradesh state and not giving any importance to its Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu that he is used to give in the beginning. But, Chandrababu Naidu and Modi’s meeting held yesterday and its outcome proves those stories are baseless and politically motivated.

Their meeting proved to be very significant as Chandrababu has convinced Prime Minister Narendra Modi to make an announcement on granting of special status to the state. Need not to say he reminds him about granting funds to Polavaram Project, construction of Capital city and infrastructure development in the state, setting-up industrial corridor between Vizag and Chennai etc. It is learnt that he also convinced Modi to accommodate two of his party leaders in his cabinet during reshuffle that he plans to do very soon.

Since, Chandrababu Naidu’s government is going to complete 100 days’ ruling on September 8th but couldn’t make any progress due to financial limitations, Modi government may confirm according special status to the state or may grant huge funds to kick start some sort of development activities in the state, within next few days so as to defend its alliance partner TDP from opposition attacks.
