Why Sharmila and not Jagan?

YSR Congress is returning to Telangana very soon in the leadership of YS Sharmila. But no one in the party dares to ask why not Jagan Mohan Reddy take lead first. Perhaps, everyone knows that what happens if he steps into Telangana. He may face stiff resistance from TRS and other parties’ cadres if steps-into Telangana state. So, he is adopting the same idea that proved very successful in the past.

During the peak of Telangana agitations, Sharmila successfully conducted padayatra through Telangana region in Jagan’s absence. Their mother Vijayamma also managed some public meetings successfully in Telangana then. However neither TRS nor anyone else was able to stop them. So, Jagan Mohan Reddy said that his sister Sharmila will lead the party and also conduct Odarpu Yatras in the state on his behalf. Once his sister Sharmila and their mother Vijayamma could recreate sympathy wave of late YSR’s death again and clears way for him, then he may step-into Telangana state.
