T-MLAs Salary hike draws criticism

Some decisions of T-government make the people very much surprised. Telangana CM KCR has paid Rs.2 crores to Tennis star Sania Mirza and appoints her as Telangana state brand ambassador. People have seen the reaction from opposition parties. They flayed him for liberally paying her.

There were reports that 108 ambulance services couldn’t come out of their garages due to lack of diesel and maintenance problems. However, KCR has purchased more than 100 Innova cars for police department in one go, even though knowing it is very difficult for them to roam freely in the heavy traffic and in the narrow gallis of the city.

State government has imposed two-day power holiday to industries to save the standing crops. However, there are reports that around 200 farmers have committed suicides during these four months failing to save their crops due to this prolem. Even, daily wage workers’ lives turn miserable with the two-day power holidays. CM KCR left for New Delhi to seek central assistance only after the power crisis cripples the state. Opposition parties question him what stops him from seeking help from the Centre.

His latest decision of doubling the salaries of MLAs and Ministers in the prevailing situation also drawing huge criticism from opposition parties and people as well. Actually, CM KCR has declared that his government will consult the civilian groups that he formed to have their opinion his government decisions, but he appears has never consulted them. He should realize that collective decisions will keep his government away from criticism.
