The man, who dares Robert Wadra

"If you have to take action, the morality should start from the top, right at the top. It is very easy to take action on the downtrodden, but it takes courage and guts to call a bluff a bluff, when it happens at the top."

This is what a sincere and courageous IAS officer Ashok Khemka, who got transferred for more than 44 times during last two years, opines. IAS officer Ashok Khemka serving Haryana government has not only cancelled a land deal in Gurgaon that taken place between Vadra and DLF Universal Ltd last October, in which Robert Wadra, the son-in-law of Sonia Gandhi is the end-benefiter.

Ashok Khmika, in his recent interview given to a private channel, when was asked whether he is fully aware of who is who involved in this deal, he replied “morality demands one starts at the top and that requires guts and courage. Actually, a criminal investigation is necessary to establish the truth.” He has cancelled the land deal mutation.

He observed that the purchase of 3.5 acres of land by Skylight Hospitality in Shikorpur village in Gurgaon in February 2008 was a shady deal and needs a thorough investigation.”
