The meeting was attended by TDP's Payyavula Keshav, S Chandrasekhar Reddy, PCC secretary Naveen Kumar Reddy, several MLAs, university professors and advocates.

The speakers in the meeting stressed on the necessity of Andhra Pradesh remaining united. They said that state can achieve all round development only when it remains un-divided. TDP leader Payyavula Keshavulu said "When the Congress high command has already indicated to its Telangana leaders that they have to remain united for another 100 years to come, then what is the use in asking for a separate state." He suggested his Telangana counterparts to try for some appropriate packages instead of struggling for separation. He gave example of the recent Gorkhaland agreement and suggested them to opt for similar settlement.
