T G Venkatesh and E Pratap in TDP

Since the poll bugle had been sounded we are seeing a barrage of political changes in the State of Andhra Pradesh. As part of jumping the political bandwagon spree we now have two former ministers of Kiran Kumar Reddy regime who have joined the Telugu Desam Party formally. T G Venkatesh and Erasu Pratap Reddy have taken the call to join the TDP. This has been a major setback for Mr Kiran Kumar who would have expected some kind of loyalty from either of them.

T G Venkatesh and E Pratap Reddy, both belonging to Kurnool district in Rayalaseema region have officially joined the TDP in the presence of its chief N Chandrababu Naidu. This was stated to be a mark of protest against the bifurcation of the state and they stated that the only party that could lead the state of Seemaandhra was TDP and its leader Chandra Babu Naidu alone. T G Venkatesh said, it felt like a home coming and it is a well known fact that he was elected from the Kurnool A.P.State legislative assembly from 1999 to 2004 and quit the TDP in 2004 to join the Congress party. Erasu Pratap Reddy who was elected to the assembly 3 times and won from newly formed Srisailam Assembly Constituency in 2009 elections and was a strong loyalist of the Congress Party now  has shifted his change to the TDP and is a strong contender in the Seema politics.
