So... Is the Bifurcation Certain?

So... Is the Bifurcation Certain!? Can’t vouch for the above statement! But that is what the feeling one gets after hearing the speeches of Seema Andhra Ministers after meeting the GOM. Honestly, there was no much difference between what Seemandhra Ministers said and the T ministers said post their GOM meet except the post bifurcation demands varied.

The T Central Ministers reiterated their demands post bifurcation, while the Seema Andjhra Ministers made it amply clear that they are willing for bifurcation provided their demands of x,y and z are met.

The Seema Andhra ministers in their talk with journos did not at any point stressed that they have indeed talked about the Samaikya Andhra issue. Even seniors like Kishore Chandra Dev is harping on the Capital to be given to Vizag.

Then it was left to the Chief Minister to nail the last coffin on the Samaikya Andhra. Though CM spent 75 minutes with the GOM and strangely spent the almost same time explaining to the reporters in Andhra Bhavan of what he has told to GOM, the issue was nothing but the consolidation of the various press reports he has been giving to the people from his peshi. CM conveniently forgot that he was called by the GOM for a talk on the policies of bifurcation.

If Kiran, as being portrayed by him, is really defying the high command, then he should have resigned as anyways the GOM is saying it has almost finalized the report to be submitted to the cabinet on 20th. CM is still talking about mundane things like giving 2 books to GOM of how Samaikya Andhra is important etc. The feeling that CM is just trying ti spend time is getting currency. If he can continue the same drama until the bill comes to Parliament, then it will be easy for him to portray himself as a person who has fought valiantly until the last minute but was defeated by the high command. This way he can present himself as a fighter to the people and also can get good marks with the high command as a person who has kept the Andhra people at bay through portrayal of “I am fighting..you don’t worry” . This way he has kept Andhra people and second rung politicians at bay from making a open revolt. At the end of the day, the congress command is able to do peacefully what it intends to do.

All this is giving a feeling to the discerning observers that bifurcation is imminent and the writing on the wall is clear. It’s what the Congress high commands wants and the Andhra congress leaders are striving to give!!
