Show-cause notice issued to JC

Senior Congress leader and party MLA JC Diwakar Reddy was given show-cause notice by PCC disciplinary committee today, for asking party Chief Sonia Gandhi step down from her post. He was given 7 days’ time to give his explanation. However, JC Diwakar Reddy told the media that he has not received any show-cause notice until now.

He said “I want to stay in Congress forever, but PCC Chief Botsa Satyanarayana wants to send me out of party. I will take a decision after I receive show-cause notice.”

However JC, who until now has been stating that he got invitations from both TDP and YSR Congress parties, spells his choice by praising YSR Congress party and criticizing TDP. “I strongly believe that YSR Congress party alone is honestly fighting to keep the state united. TDP, which has already lost one of its eye because of its two-eyes-policy may lose the other also, if won’t say Samaikyandhra. Let my brother and son decide about which party they want to join. I will not press them to join any party,” said JC Diwakar Reddy.
