Shoba Nagireddy Passes Away

YSR Congress Party Leader Shobha Nagireddy passed away some time ago after succumbing to injuries from a terrible road accident. She is a well-known candidate from Allagadda region of Kurnool district. Shobha had been into active politics from a very long time. Her father, S V Subba Reddy was a senior politician and ex-minister. Her brother S V Mohan Reddy is an Ex MLC. Born and brought up in a political atmosphere, Shobha married Bhuma Nagireddy (Member of Parliament) in 1986. The couple had three kids.

Shobha started off her career in Telugu Desam Party and has the credit of becoming the first woman woman chairperson of APSRTC. Later on, Shobha shifted to Praja Rajyam Party and held the position of the party's spokesperson. Currently Shobha Nagireddy is a leader from YSR Congress Party helmed by Jagan Mohan Reddy. Her demise is a shock to many of them. Nevertheless, her work, skills and service will be remembered and appreciated.
