Qatar to invest in India for Smart Cities Development

 

Sheikh Hamad Bin Nasser Al-Thani of the Qatar Royalty is also Chairman of the Future Pipe Industries and is the Deputy Chairman of Dalah Brokerage & Investment Holding Co. He is ready to invest $30 billion to develop 10 smart cities across India. His group of companies that runs under the flagship of Hamaad is also keen to invest on the power generation, education, solar, health care, infrastructure sectors etc. in India.

 

The Delhi based Indian partner Mitesh, the Managing Director of Al Natroon Trading & Contracting Company, Qatar has had meetings with Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and UP Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav during third week of November. His company has signed a MoU with the AP government on behalf of the Hamad group to invest $3 billion dollars to develop smart city in the AP state.
