PV Narasimha Rao birth anniversary gets State recognition

As a fitting tribute to the late Prime Minister Sri P V Narasimha Rao , the Government of Telangana has declared the birth anniversary celebrations of former Prime Minister as a State function this year. This was conveyed by the Principal Secretary (Political) Ajay Misra after a discussion with other members in a coordination meetimg held at the Secretariat. KV Ramanachary, Advisor to the Telangana Government also stressed the need to conduct the function in a befitting manner as he was an important leader and the only Prime Minister from Andhra Pradesh to be elected.


 Sri PV Narasimha Rao was born on 28 June 1921 at Lakkampally village near Narsampet in Warangal District and at the age of 3 years he was adopted and brought up in Vangara village in Karimnagar district of Telangana. Arrangements are being made for his 93rd birth anniversary celebrations which will be attended by both the Chief Ministers of Telangana, AP and other dignitaries.
