Nellore ZPTC Chairman Election postponed

Elections for Nellore ZPTC Chairman Post were once again postponed as the 22 ZPTC members of TDP boycotts. There was high tense situation prevails in the ZPTC office before the elections. Hence, a barricade has been arranged separating TDP and YCP members to prevent them fighting with each other. Besides, security personals also have been deployed inside the house and they stood between the two raged groups.

YCP members have signed the register for oath taking but, the 22 members of TDP refused to sign and walked out boycotting the election. Therefore, Collector Srikanth, who acts as returning officer postponed the elections.

While YCP gives a shock to TDP at Prakasham ZPTC Chairman elections by supporting its rebel candidate E Hari Babu, TDP gives shocker to YCP at Nellore by boycotting the elections, where YCP has 31 out of 46 members of ZPTC.

YCP candidate Tulasi wins Jammalamadugu Municipality Chairman post and TDP candidate Mullah Jani was elected as Deputy Chairman. IN Ranga Reddy district,

TRS candidate Sunita wife of M Mahender Reddy was elected ZPTC Chairman with the support of 21 TDP members under mutual agreement and Prabhakar Reddy of TDP was elected Deputy Chairman.
