Miscreants attacked TRS and TDP leaders

Some unidentified persons have attacked TRS leader Manik Reddy and TDP leader Tummala Nageswara rao yesterday night on outer ring road, Hyderabad near Kolluru. Both the leaders were attacked in the same place but escaped unhurt.

Manik Reddy was returning to Hyderabad from Jogipeta in Medak district after attending a meeting with party cadres, Nageswara rao was on his way to Hyderabad from Kompalli. Manik Reddy, who has lodged a complaint with Syberabad commissioner CV Anand, said that some miscreants hiding in the bushes on the road side have opened fire on his vehicle. The front glass panel of the vehicle was damaged in the attack. He said the miscreants ran away, by the time he got down from the vehicle. He is clueless about who could attack him as he claims has no enemies.

Later, when Tummala Nageswara rao’s vehicle was passing on the same road miscreants attacked his vehicle also at the same place. Tummala, who was sitting beside driver, was minor injured in the attack. He also lodged complaint with Syberabad police.

Immediately, Syberabad police have rushed to the spot to trace out the culprits but found none there. They opine that the miscreants might be road side robbers, who attack people for money. However, they are investigating on the two incidents.
