GoM will meet next week: Shinde

 

Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde holds the GoM meeting at his office in New Delhi today. However, P. Chidambaram and Ghulam Nabi Azad are not present in the today’s meeting as they were out of station. The meeting which continues for around one and half hours is said to be mainly discussed about Hyderabad status.

 

Later speaking to media Shinde said GoM will meet again in the next week after the arrival of Chidambaram and Azad. Actually, the GoM is expected to finalize its reprot during today's meeting and to submit it to Union Cabinet Ministers' meeting to be held today. However, Shinde said GoM need to meet two or three times further for finalizing its report.

 

The proposed Cabinet meeting to be held today is also postponed, as Prime Minister Dr.Manmohan Singh is leaving for Rajasthan for election campaigning.
