Five Cong. MPs insists for approval of resignation letters

Five Congress MPs- Undavalli, Lagadapati, Anantha Venkata Rami Reddy, SPY Reddy and Sai Prathap and two YSR Congress MPs Sabbam Hari and Mekapati have met Lok Sabha Speaker Meera Kumar today and stressed for approval of their resignation letters. The MPs have told the Speaker that they are quitting their posts protesting Congress decision of dividing the state. According to reports, Speaker is likely to make an announcement by today evening about her decision on their resignations.

SPY Reddy has recently left Congress and joined YSR Congress party. Congress Minister Viswaroop, who also submits resignation letter to Governor narasimhan two days ago, is also keen to join YSRCP. his resignation for minister post was approved by Governor today.
