Congress MPs to fall in line with high command

Seemandhra Congress MPs, who first planned to stage dharna at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi, protesting the party decision of dividing the state, has shifted their venue to Gandhi statue near Parliament house, in wake of stern warnings issued by party high command. Digvijay Singh has asked the Seemandhra leaders not to speak against the CWC decision on bifurcation. Today, once again they were put to another test of voting the Food security bill.

Congress party has issued a whip ordering all the MPs of the party to make themselves available and vote in favour of ‘food security bill’ in the parliament. Though, the Seemandhra MPs have planned utilize this opportunity to twist the party hand on bifurcation issue, after wide discussions held at MP Harsha Kumar’s house at New Delhi, they have decided to participate in the voting and support the bill, fearing serious action from high command as it takes the bill as very prestigious. The major development takes place in their protests is, new members like Union ministers Chiranjeevi and Panabaka have also joined them yesterday. However, they have decided to vote in favour of the bill and continue their fight against bifurcation.
