Congress mounting pressure for C.Raju withdrawal

Congress party is applying all the tactics it knows to see rebel candidate Chaitanya Raju with draw from Rajya Sabha race. First Botsa Satyanarayana wrote a letter to returning officer raising doubts about the details furnished in his nomination papers. But the returning officer Sadaram has verified and approves his nomination. Hence, next minister Vatti Vasantha Kumar swings into action and asks the returning officer to reject Chaitnya Raju’s nomination as a non-bailable arrest warrant has been issued against him, which he conceals in his nomination form.

But, the Minister ignores the fact that returning officer also sought information from police about this complaint before confirming about his candidature. Congress, which is complaining against him, should realize that it conveniently ignores about his back ground all these days and remembers only when he challenges its candidates. Congress is also revealing that it couldn’t shrug off its die-hard old habit of twisting hand of its enemies.
