Chicago Model capital for AP likely?

If, reports are to be believed, it is learnt that AP government has made up its mind to build the state capital in Chicago Model that would be on either sides of Krishna River. It is learnt that the government has asked the officials to conduct a survey alongside the banks of the river from Prakasham Barrage towards Guntur and also between Vijayawada and Gollapudi, Toollooru and Uddandaraya Puram villages. If state government could get sufficient lands in these areas, it may go for this model otherwise it may return to its Singapore model capital city near Nuziveedu or some other place around Vijayawada.

However, getting funds, permissions and lands acquisition may take a long time. If the state government could overcome all these problems at the earliest, then there is five years’ time frame for it to accomplish this great task. Hope, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, who proved his mettle by developing Hyderabad into IT Hub during his regime in the past, may accomplish these great task with his extra ordinary management skills.
