Will Geetha Reddy steps down

Jagan Mohan Reddy’s illegal assets case seems to force Minister Geetha Reddy to drop the cards, after Dharmana and Sabita Indra Reddy, who were named in different charge sheets of the same case. Though, there was no signs seen yet, she may be asked to quit her post before stepping into CBI court, otherwise it will provide a new weapon to opposition parties, which are desperately looking for a way-out from the bifurcation issue.

After taking-up the charge sheets filed in the Lepakshi Knowledge Hub case, CBI court has issued summons to Minister Geetha Reddy, who was given accused No:A9, asking her to attend the trial on 15th of November. The court also serves summons to all the 13 accused including Jagan Mohan Reddy, Vijaya Sai Reddy and Dharmana Prasada rao.

Although, TDP, TRS and BJP can grab this opportunity to corner the ruling Congress government, YSR Congress may not afford to make any remarks on this issue as its own president Jagan Mohan Reddy is prime accused in this case. However, this is going to spoil the bright chances of Geetha Reddy, who is dreaming to become the first CM of the Telangana state.
