Rajan a patriot, loves India says PM Modi

Clearly disapproving with the stance BJP MP Subramanian Swamy has taken against the Reserve Bank of India Governor, Raghuram Rajan, Prime Minister Modi, in an interview said that the comments made by Swamy on Rajan were "inappropriate". Modi also said that remarks made for publicity are never appropriate and that if anybody considers himself above the system, it is wrong. While praising Rajan's work, PM said, "My experience with him has been good and I appreciate the work that he has done. He is no less patriotic. He loves India. Wherever he will work, he will work for India and he is patriotic". Rajan will be completing his term soon and the Government has already shortlisted 4 candidates for the top position.
