Kiran Cabinet Expansion Confirmed For Tomorrow

Suspense over Kiran Kumar Reddy's cabinet expansion has been cleared. Ther chief minister finally got the party high command nod for induction of two PRP legislators in to his cabinet. However, he was told to withhold appointment of any other ministers for the time being. The expansion will take place tomorrow.

Both the PRP legislators - C Ramachandraiah and Ghanta Srinivasa Rao - as proposed by Chiranjeevi will be accommodated in the state cabinet. According to reliable sources, textiles minister P Shankar Rao, who has been embarrassing the chief minister for quite sometime now, will be dropped from the cabinet. It is said, Kiran Kumar got the green signal from Mrs. Sonia Gandhi to sack Shankar Rao.

With the news spreading, there is jubilation all around in the PRP camp. Certainly, this is the first triumph for PRP chief Chiranjeevi, since he merged his party with the Congress.
