The Aam Aadmi Party might be boasting of being clear from corruption. But the AAP ministers at Delhi were trying to prove that it’s hard to pull away from corruption. Lakhs of easy money can always lure a politician to be corrupt. Recently a sting operation has placed one more AAP minister amidst the controversy of corruption. An aide of Environment minister `Imran Hussain’ was caught on camera demanding 25 lakhs from a builder. This bribery was demanded for granting environmental clearances from the ministry. “He has spent rupees five-seven crores in the elections… Imran bhai had spent and has to get that money back… you know how much he had spent to get the ministry? How much running around he had to do to get the seat and how much he spent? How will he recover all that?,” was heard from the minister’s aide during the conversation. Ironically the predecessor of this environment minister too was sacked on the allegation of corruption. The video however has reached the congress leader Ajay Maken who was happy to display it on public. Though Imran Hussain denies of his involvement in any such act of corruption, the opposition has got one more chance to mock the ideals of AAP.
